FAQ
Why choose Physiofusion?
We are a highly experienced team of Senior Chartered Physiotherapists, each with over 15 years of postgraduate expertise. This is reflected in the quality of your treatment room experience with expert and efficient diagnostic skills which allows for specific hands-on techniques to target the root cause of your pain and help you to feel better from the first visit.
We are fortunate to have grown our clinic through positive word of mouth from our clients over the past 15 years, and our 5 star google reviews give a strong sense of our patient satisfaction and value.
How can we help you with longstanding pain?
At Physiofusion the treatment room time reflects only a part of our umbrella of care which extends far beyond your visit to us, to include time we spend outside of your session creating a network of support for you to ensure a comprehensive approach to your care. This regularly involves the preparation, design and set up of your new exercise programme. We also use our time to write to your GP or hospital consultant including drafting new referrals for other healthcare professionals eg occupational therapist/pain management consultant. We liaise with your gym or coaching staff, send you links to recommended websites or online stores to help you choose footwear or runners, help you to source exercise equipment/ and guide you to help select medical equipment/knee braces/ankle supports and home office equipment for working from home.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can self refer to a Chartered Physiotherapist without a medical referral. If you have a letter from your doctor or copies of X-Ray/MRI reports please bring them with you.
Can I claim the cost from my health insurance?
In most cases yes! Irish Life Health will pay us directly for six physiotherapy sessions for Neck and Back pain, and all health insurers in Ireland including VHI and Laya Healthcare provide significant rebates for physiotherapy which will vary according to your policy.
You can also claim tax relief of a further 20% on physiotherapy services through Revenue when referred by a medical doctor.
What are your opening hours?
The clinic is open from 8.30am to 8pm Monday to Thursday, and 8.30am to 4pm on Friday.
What should I wear?
Please bring shorts and/or a vest top if you wish to wear them at your session. Please bring your runners if you are presenting with a lower limb injury.
